by using trackmatch ("the service"), you agree to these terms.
- use of the service: a music identification tool that analyzes dj mixes and short live audio recordings (the record feature) and provides track metadata + links to external platforms; public youtube previews via the official iframe player.
- youtube api services: trackmatch uses youtube api services for previews; users are bound by the youtube terms of service; google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- your responsibilities: personal, non-commercial use only; no disruption of the platform.
- billing, cancellation & refunds: cancel anytime, no renewal, downgrade to free; any saved sets or favorites remain usable after downgrading; fees non-refundable once charged; discretionary refunds for duplicate charges, billing errors, or technical faults.
privacy policy
- collected: email (if signed up), uploaded mix urls & tracklists, scan/search activity, discogs token if entered. not collected: name, ip, location, youtube metadata.
- live record: short microphone snippets are used only to identify the playing track, processed transiently, and never stored.
- youtube api previews via official iframe; not monetized/modified/stored.
- use: improve recognition; service emails only (account + billing); no marketing; no selling/sharing.
- cookies: no marketing/tracking cookies; basic session only.
